I started working at WLES in 2009 after first learning English here as a student back in 2005. I moved to the UK from Japan to improve my English, starting in Upper-Intermediate, moving to Advanced (where Rebecca was my teacher!) and finishing in Proficiency. Because I was an English student before working here, I really understand how students feel when arriving in a new country and what support they need from us.
Aside from working here, I really enjoy make-up artistry. I did a make-up course in Japan and have since been a make-up artist for several events like weddings, Hyper Japan, Japan Matsuri etc. here in London. I also love travelling and immersing myself into the local culture, like trying street food in Thailand and Vietnam, and exploring in New Zealand.
