Cover Teachers

We are always interested to hear from locally based teachers, who are interested in cover work, with the possibility of more regular work in the future.

As a British Council accredited school, and to maintain our high standards, we require all our teaching staff to have completed at least a Level 5 EFL teaching certificate (Cambridge CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent), as well as hold a Level 6 qualification in any subject.

At WLES, we are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, and have policies in place to assure this. As part of our Safer Recruitment Policy, all job offers at WLES are dependent on the candidate passing suitability checks, which include an enhanced DBS check, and the school receiving at least two satisfactory references.
